San Juan Smokehouse established in 2014 in San Juan, Puerto Rico is the first and only real Southern BBQ restaurant on the island. Mixing up some great bbq staples with a Caribbean twist has made us into a popular and favorite spot among locals as well as tourists. Located right in front of the 100 year old Farmers Market in the Santurce neighborhood called “La Placita” is a great site to see during the day. At night La Placita turns into a vibrant outdoors night life scene with its 40 plus restaurants and bars co-existing within the same block. Live music and people on the streets makes this into happening place similar to Bourbon Street. So, if you find yourself in the area come check us out and then enjoy La Placita whether it be day or night. We’re located only 5 minutes from Condado and 10 from Old San Juan and Isla Verde.
